the central doorway and has 2-light renewed casements in the outer bays;
ground-floor openings have segmental rubble arches but upper windows have
lintels. Left gable wall incorporates the outer face of a former projecting
stack and returns to the gable wall of the later section. Earlier rear wing
returns from right and has a single-storey service range extending from it to
right. Interior; stop-chamfered spine beams; stairs, joinery and some fireplaces
of c.1800; butt-purlin roofs with apex-jointed rafters and some ridge pieces.
Service range has a well-preserved bread oven. Included for group value.
