13/113 Moulder's Cottage and No.50

GV II

2 houses, possibly formerly one house. Mid C18. Coursed limestone rubble with
wooden lintels and ashlar quoins; Welsh-slate and Stonesfield-slate roofs with
ashlar and brick stacks. 2-unit and single-unit plans in a single range. 2
storeys plus attic. 3-window front of Moulder's Cottage, to left, has casements
of 3, 2 and 3 lights at first floor, but below has canted 5-light bay windows
flanking the 4-panel door. Steep-pitched roof has flanking ashlar stacks with
plinths, and it continues over No.50 to right, which is stone-slated and has
windows at a much higher level plus a brick gable stack. To right is a later
2-storey section containing the entrance. Interiors not inspected.
