13/54 Wall surrounding garden at
Kilmore House

GV II
Garden wall. C18 and early C19, with traces of building breaks. Coursed rubble
limestone with flat stone coping, south wall coping with additional C20 concrete
roll. Later buttresses. Circa 2 metres high. South wall has nesting boxes for
doves. West wall, adjacent to north of Kilmore House, (q.v.), incorporates
re-used medieval arch with hollow chamfer, moulded label, and rear rebate for
door. Included for group value.
