House. Said to have been built in 1823. Coursed rubble limestone with ashlar
front; stone slate roof with coped gables and flanking ashlar chimneys. 3
storeys and cellar, 3 bays. Band courses at first and second floor levels.
Ground and first floors have 3-pane sashes; second floor has 4-pane sashes
flanking 3-pane. All sashes have stone lintels, those to centre bay shaped into
depressed arches, the first floor window with keyblock. Cellar has large 3-light
barred wooden casement with segmental head to right. Central 6-panelled door
with semi-circular radiating fanlight and 2 moulded stone steps. Royal fire
insurance plaque. Left gable end has lunette to attic. Rendered lean-to to rear.
Interior has contemporary fittings, including one reeded wooden fireplace,
dog-leg staircase with stick balusters, and 6-panel doors in architrave frames.
