12/09/55 Farmhouse

GV II
Barn. Mid-late C18. Coursed rubble limestone with roughly dressed quoins and
stone slate roof. 5 bays. Square vent holes, the gable ends with high vent
slits. Centre bay has opposing cart entries, that to east with gabled projecting
porch, that to west with later buttress to left. Extension to front of right
bays on east side has catslide roof. Collar and tie-beam trusses with double
purlin roof, some timbers re-used.
