GV II
House. Early C19, with late C19-C20 extension to right. Coursed rubble limestone
with rough quoins, stone slate roof and flanking rebuilt chimneys, the left of
white brick, the right rubble stone. 2 storeys, 2 bays. Paired wooden casements
with single horizontal glazing bars, that to ground floor right with slightly
cambered stone lintel, the upper windows with wooden lintels. Ground floor of
left bay has later C19 canted bay window with ashlar base, wooden casements and
hipped roof of Welsh slates. Central C20 barred and glazed door with old
stop-chamfered wooden lintel and stone slab hood on shaped stone scroll
brackets. Blind window panel above. C19-C20 roughcast bay to right, with Welsh
slate roof, larger wooden casements, and small lean-to. Included for group
value.
