tombs approx. 1m S of nave of
Church of St. James the Great

Group of 3 chest tombs. First chest tomb. Circa 1729. Stone. Rectangular.
Chamfer-edged slab and plain bale to top. Second chest tomb. Probably C18.
Stone. Rectangular plain chest with cornice-moulded slab and plain bale to top.
Third chest tomb. Probably early C18. Stone. Winged heads and swags to sides
with panels to left and right having lozenges. Inscribed panel to West end with
oval wreathed surround. Oval cartouche with rococo scroll surround to east end.
Spiral-moulded bale top with shell ends, that to west with skull.
