GV II*

Bridge. C15 in origin; remodelled 1791; restored C20. Coursed squared stone;
ashlar stone parapet. 4 segmental arches, 3 with chamfered inner order. Angled
cut-waters. String-course to base of plain parapet with weathered coping. Angles
of cut-waters form pedestrian refuges. Short sections of causeway to north and
south: stone rubble with chamfered coping, on east side ramped up to form garden
wall of Mouseham (q.v.).
