House. Late C17, extended early to mid C18 with later additions and alterations.
Uncoursed limestone rubble; stone slate roof, hipped to left. Original 3-bay
house, extended by one bay to left in C18. Two storeys. Blazing bar sashes
directly below eaves, one to left and 3 to original part. 16-paned glazing bar
sash to ground floor of C18 part and one with cambered head to right of original
part. This has C20 flat-roofed open projection to left over C20 French window
with flanking casements; doorway with small casement on left to left (probably
formerly an end stack) with straight joint below. 16-paned glazing bar sash on
each floor to left wall. Lean-to to rear. Interior. Not inspected at tine of
resurvey (May 1987) but noted as having chamfered spine beams to ground-floor
rooms.
