House, extended to form cottage pair. Mid-to late C18 extended early C19.
Uncoursed limestone rubble, more regularly coursed to addition; machine tile
roof. 2-unit plan extended by similar length in early C19. 2 storeys. Each
cottage (see straight joint immediately to left of ridge stack) has C19 casement
on each floor to left and right of central boarded door, those to right cottage
with wood lintels, those to left rendered. Central ridge stack with dripstone
and red brick capping and integral end stack with red brick shaft to left.
Interior. Left room of right cottage has chamfered spine beam. Right room of
left cottage has straight-flight staircase; chamfered cross-beam and infilled
inglenook fireplace to left room.
