House. Late C17 or early C18 with later additions and alterations, principally
of late C20. Regularly coursed limestone rubble; stone slate roof. 2-unit plan
with C20 extensions to left, right and rear. 2 storeys and attic. Two C20
casements with wood lintels to first floor and 3 to ground floor; 2 gabled
dormers in top of roof slope. Integral axial end stack to left and integral end
stack to right, both apparently rebuilt in late C20. Interior. Not inspected at
time of resurvey (May 1987) but said to have chamfered spine beams, inglenook
fireplace to left room and crane adjoining ledged door to winder staircase from
first floor to attic; butt-purlin roof. C20 additions are not of special
architectural interest.
