5/34 Barn approx. 40m SW of Garden

Barn. Probably late C17 with later alterations. Mixed uncoursed limestone rubble
and timber frame, partly weatherboarded and partly roughcast; stone slate roof.
West side has doorways to left and to right of centre with fixed-light window to
right. Interior. Framing visible: vertical posts (some renewed) with straight
braces from wall-posts to wall-plate and curving braces from wall-posts to tie
beams. Double-purlin roof in 4 bays with collar and tie beam trusses. Loft to
south bay and formerly to north.
