Farmhouse, now house. Mid-C17 with minor later additions and alterations.
Regularly coursed and dressed marlstone with alternating angle quoins continued up
to gable ends; stone slate roof with coped verges and concrete tiles to rear.
2 storeys and gable-lit attic. 4-window front, 2-light mullion windows with drip-
stones to ground floor only, all chamfered except to outer bays on first floor
which are ovolo-moulded, chamfered 2-light mullion windows with dripstones to
gable-lit attics. Plain chamfered surround with boarded door between 2 left
windows and similar surround with dripstone and 4-panel door (glazed to top)
between 2 right windows. Integral ashlar end stacks and ridge stack to right
of centre, all with moulded capping. Low gabled range at right-angles to rear
with integral end stack has gabled projection probably housing bread oven.
Interior not inspected but likely to be of interest.
