Cottage. Probably mid-C17, extended late C20. Roughly coursed limestone and
marlstone rubble with alternating angle quoins; straw thatch roof. Original
2-room plan extended to left late C20. Two storeys and attic. Chamfered mullion
windows (all 2-light except lower left of 3 lights) to left and right of central
plank door with strap hinges in chamfered surround under C20 conical thatched
hood. Stone ridge stack (formerly an external end stack) at junction with C20
addition to left and raking dormer in roof slope lighting attic to rear. C20
extension to left and flat-roofed addition to rear are not of special
architectural interest.
