1/13 Four Shire Stone (that part in
Chastleton C.P.)

Boundary stone. Mid-to late C18 with C19 lettering. Limestone ashlar. Square
section. Moulded plinth and capping with cavetto-moulded top and possibly later
or replaced ball finial. Inscriptions "GLOUCESTERSHIRE, WARWICKSHIRE,
OXFORDSHIRE, WORCESTERSHIRE" to west, north, east and south sides respectively
with inscription "THE/FOUR SHIRE/STONE" to plinth on south side. Now stands at
the boundary of Gloucestershire, Warwickshire and Oxfordshire only.
