House, now divided. Mid-to late C18, extended mid-C19 with later additions and
alterations. Roughly coursed limestone rubble concrete tile roof with coped
verges to main range, slates to C19 addition. 3-unit baffle-entry main range
with gabled addition in 2 sections to rear on right forming L-plan. 2 storeys
and gable-lit attic. 3-window front; late C19 casements in C18 openings with
stone lintels and projecting keystones. Entrance between first and second
windows from left; C19 boarded door under contemporary gabled trellised porch.
Integral end stacks and ridge stack directly above entrance, all with
dripstones, right stack with C19 purple engineering brick shaft and other 2
rebuilt late C20. Gabled staircase projection between C19 addition to rear on
right and C20 addition to rear on left, latter not of special architectural
interest. Occupies a prominent corner position.
