Gatepiers, gates and quadrant walls. 1939 by Clough Williams Ellis for Mrs.
Anthony Gillson of Cornwell Manor (q.v.), incorporating 4 existing (probably
late C18) gatepiers. Piers. Limestone ashlar with moulded capping and ball
finials. Square section. Inner piers linked by decorative wrought-iron gates and
quadrant drystone walls with ramped coping link inner to outer piers. Stand at
main entrance to Cornwell Manor. Included for group value.
