GV II

Cottage. Late C17 with later additions and alterations. Roughly coursed limestone and
marlstone rubble; straw thatch roof. One storey and attic. Early C20 casements with
wood lintels to 4 eyebrow eaves dormers and 4 to ground floor, 2 to left and 2 to right
of roughly central C20 boarded door under conical thatched hood. C20 metal French
window between 2 left windows. Integral end stack to left. Single-storey range
attached to right has 2 narrow casements with glazed door to right. Carving of squirrel,
of indeterminate but probably relatively recent date, fixed above circular bowl inserted in wall.
