GV II

House. Late C17 with later additions and alterations. Roughly coursed and partly
banded limestone and marlstone rubble; stone slate roof with coped verges and
carved apex to front gable. 2 storeys and gable-lit attic. Gable-fronted with
3-light chamfered mullion windows to ground and first floors and one of 2 lights
to attic, all with dripstones. 2-light chamfered mullion window with dripstone
to left on ground floor. Internal red brick end stack with purple engineering
brick capping to rear, which has outline of earlier roof pitch visible to gable.
C19 single-storey outbuilding extensions attached to rear. Interior: Not inspected
but likely to be of interest.
