Church of St John.

Chest tomb. Erected 1609. Cyma moulded plinth and cornice to heavy
ledger. Brass set in west end, depicts a diminutive John Huntt with
inscription: "I know that my redeemer/Lyveth and that I shall rise again
at the later day/here lyeth the bodye/of John Huntt of Burford/Mercer who
deceased the/15 day of March in the/year of Our Lord 1603/William Huntt
and Richard Huntt sons of the sayde John Huntt/made this 1609."
