Gatepier, attached walls

5/7 and gates approx. 25m SE of Lee Place
GV II

Gatepier, one of a pair (qv), walls and gates. C18 origins,
remodelled C19. Coursed limestone rubble and ashlar. Rusticated
gatepier with vermiculated panels surmounted by ball finial. Wall
with pitched coping encloses garden and has central round headed
arch with simple moulded keyblock and imposts. Iron gate.
Another opening has basket arch. Wing wall terminates in pier
with ball finial.
