5/55 (East side)
Bull Inn

Inn. C17 with later alterations. Coursed squared rubble; timber lintels;
slate roof; brick chimneys. L-plan. 2 storeys, attic and cellar; 5-
window range. In 2 parts; left part; central door with 6 raised and
fielded panels under a flat hood is flanked by 3-light casements under
timber lintels. Similar first-floor windows have C20 louvered shutters
and awnings. Iron ties. Right part has 4-light ground-floor casement
window under a long timber lintel probably formerly a shop-front and to
the left a C20 inserted doorway replicating main entrance. One C20 roof-
light in each half of the building. Interior has stop-chamfered ceiling
beams on ground floor and C17 angled fireplace with stone lintel to right
ground floor room.
