House, now house and hairdresser's premises. Early C18 with later
alterations and extension to right. Coursed square rubble; stone slate
roof. Main part has 2 storeys, cellar and attic. Central half-glazed
door has moulded doorcase. Sash windows with glazing bars have cambered
arches on ground floor and wooden lintels on first floor. Central painted
date stone (not legible) has oval tablet with recessed spandrels (similar
to Heathfield in Brown's Lane (q.v.). Hipped dormer has horizontal
sliding sashes. 2 end chimneys, the left one forming a ridge stack
finished in rendered brick. Extension to right has half-glazed door,
recessed shop-front, one first-floor sash window with glazing bars and
another smaller blocked window with timber lintel.
