9/10/80 Redding Wick House
formerly listed as
House. Circa 1830-1840. Coursed squared rubble with ashlar quoins and
dressings; slate roof. 3 storeys and cellar; 3-window range of 16-pane
sashes under flat stone lintels. Panelled door in centre has overlight
with rectilinear glazing bars. Canted ground floor bay to right with
large-paned sashes, conceals timber lintel of former (?shop) window. 2
gable-end chimneys. Interior remodelled. Small fireplaces with cambered
stone arches. The building was used as a glove factory during the first
half of C20.
