Mid C19. Red brick; single storey and attic. Front has 3 recessed panels
with corbel courses and 2 two-light mullioned windows with stone sills
extending as bands overall. Central covered-way with pointed arched head
and moulded stone cornice hood; corbelled brick eaves; tiles. Probably
built as an almshouse. No 39 tied with rear of No 38, is C17, timber
framed with plaster, panels of 2 storeys and having 2 oldcccsement windows
with leaded lights, plus 2 simple doorways.
Nos 34 to 40 (consec) and Nos 43 to 46 (consec) form a group
