House. Later C18. Browny red brick, whitewashed to front and left end. Plain-
tile roof with brick rear stack. Wedge plan, between 2 alleyways, tapering
to left. 2 storeys with attic and basement, the ground lower to rear.
2-window range of 1- and 2-light casement over, from left, a 2-light casement,
part-glazed door, 4-pane sash, and 2-light casement. On left end a small
extension with part-glazed door. C20 bow window on end. Above on main range
a 12-pane sash and a 9-pane C20 sash-type window in attic which has a half-
round brick-coped gable. To rear a C19 canted bay window on cast-iron brackets,
and two 6-pane sashes. Slightly projecting stack with plank door and barred
overlight at its base. C20 dormer. Dentilled eaves. Interior not inspected
but noted as having spine beams, timber-framed partition and old purlins.
No 3 occupies a prominent corner position.
