Listing Text

The following building shall be added:


31/37 Old Woodhouse


Farmhouse, now house. Late C16/early C17. Render over timber frame;
gabled old plain tile roof; C19 brick ridge and left end stacks. 3-
unit plan. 2 storeys; 3-window range. Segmental and flat rendered
arches over late C19/early C20 horned 6-pane sashes to ground floor
and 3-light first-floor casements. Mid C19 rendered brick outshuts to
right, with C20 door, and rear. Interior: exposed timber frame with
short knee bracing to wall posts; 3-bay queen-post roof with trenched
purlins and straight windbracing; timber-framed partition divides
central from left-hand bay; central room has stop chamfered beam.
