Old Woodhouse Farmhouse

Farmhouse, now house. Late C16/early C17. Render over timber frame; gabled old plain tile roof; C19 brick ridge and left end stacks. Three-unit plan. Two storeys; three window range. Segmental and flat rendered arches over late C19/early C20 horned six-pane sashes to ground floor and three-light first floor casements. Mid-C19 rendered brick outshuts to right, with C20 door, and rear.

INTERIOR: exposed timber frame with short knee bracing to wall posts; three bay queen-post roof with trenched purlins and straight wind bracing; timber-framed partition divides central from left-hand bay; central room has stop chamfered beam.
