Nos. 70 and 71

2 terraced houses. Early to mid C19. Red brick (No.71 rendered),
slate roof with brick ridge stacks. 2 storeys, dentilled brick eaves
cornice; 2:3 bays, glazing bar sash windows on first floor, later angled
bays (with casements to No.71) on ground floor, separated by broad
pier strips. No.70 has central pedimental Tuscan doorcase and 4 panel
door with rectangular overlight. No.71 has an arched doorway to left,
C20 door, mid C19 cast iron railings to front. No.71 included for
group value only.
