(north side)
The Oaklands

House. Probably late C18 with later additions and alterations. Red
brick with plain tiled roofs. 2 storeys, painted stone sill band, gable
lit attic; front of 2 bays with entrance in later extension to right;
oddly spaced windows, symmetrical on first floor flanking blind window
in arched recess, 2 tripartite glazing bar sashes on ground floor.
Painted moulded stone eaves cornice at same level as floor band to
attic, 2 end stacks, that to left incorporating decorative toothed
brickwork within the first floor sill band; roof has raised verges
on kneelers. C19 and C20 extensions to right and to rear.
