Ice house or beer cellar. Probably mid c19. Plain unemphasized exterior,
with large sandstone lintel. Interior approached by single flight of
steps, has brick barrel vault, supported on red brick piers; compartments
cut out of bedrock. Listed in association with cock-pit (q,v.).
