2 cottages, now one house. C17 re-modelled mid C19 with later additions
and alterations. Painted brick cladding, Masking timber frame, sandstone
blocks incorporated in lower part of wall at right hand end, plain tiled
roof. 2 storeys; irregular fenestration, C19 casements, 3 on first floor,
2 on ground floor; central entrance with C20 doorway and porch, stack to
left behind ridge and end stack to right. Interior retains massive
fireplace and chimney-stack to left of entrance, framing mostly intact,
2 C19 dog-leg staircases without landings at each end. C20 extensions
to rear.
