GV II

House. Late C16 with C18 alterations and additions. Timber framed with
close studding and rendered infill panels, later painted brick additions
including underbuilding to South-West, and old tile roof with partial
catslide over outshut to rear. One framed bay, 2 framed bay projecting
cross wing to left with late C18 addition to front, and projecting early
C18 gabled wing to right. 2 storeys. First floor to South-West probably
formerly jettied, gable to right with parapeted gable end; ridge stack
off-centre to left, stack in angle of right-hand wing, end stack to right,
and 2 end stacks to left-hand cross wing. Projecting first floor 3-light
C19 casement to right, ground floor 3-light casement to right, and C20
boarded door to left. Right-hand wing with one flush-framed segmental
headed glazing bar sash on each floor, and lean-to to left with one
segmental headed 3-light casement in left-hand return front; left-hand
cross wing with one glazing bar sash on each floor, and right-hand return
front with glazing bar sash on each floor, that below with segmental head.
South-West front: 3 blocked first floor windows. First floor glazing bar
sash off-centre to left, and 2-light leaded casement to far left; 2 ground
floor C20 flat-topped canted bays flanking C20 half glazed door off-centre
to left. Interior: probably C17 wainscot panelling in ground floor room,
