Pair of houses. Circa 1830 with later additions and alterations. Red
brick, slate roof with axial ridge stacks to left and right. Three storeys,
lower forming basement, moulded wooden eaves cornice; 3-window front,
glazing bar sashes with painted stone lintels and cills, upper centre
blind; central entrance, wooden Roman Doric portico with metopes,
triglyphs and mutules over paired 4-panel doors with rectangular barred
overlights. Flight of four steps to centre with flanking pointed railings
and urn-capped standards, carried round on low stone plinth to left and
right.
