House, now shop and offices. Mid-C18 but possibly incorporating parts
of an earlier building, later additions and alterations. Reddish brown
brick stuccoed to front, slate roof with coped verges on stone kneelers
has thin ridge stack to centre and internal end stacks, left re-built
in late C19 yellow brick. 2 storeys and attic, stone modillion eaves
cornice and cill band; 8-window front, flush-framed glazing bar sashes
to first floor and 3 plate-glass sashes in C19 moulded stone architraves
to lower right, 4 hip-roofed dormers with sashes in roof slope; c. 1940
chrome-framed shop front to left with contemporary door in fourth bay
from left, C19 pedimented stone doorcase to third bay from right.
Mid-C18 2-storey range to rear but twin gables projecting from roof may
be part of an earlier building.
