Cottage. 1825 (datestone) with later additions and alterations.
Roughly coursed limestone rubble, slate roof. 2 storeys; windows to
left and right of central entrance, 16-paned glazing bar sashes
with stone lintels to ground floor and similar windows converted to
top-hung casements on first floor, panelled door (top panels now glazed)
in plain pedimented doorcase; internal end stacks with prominent red
brick diamond-shape shafts added late C19. Datestone "JNP/1825" above
door. 2-storey range set back to right has 2-light C19 casement on
each floor and boarded door to right; similar end stack as main range
with later red brick shafts.
