House, right-hand part latterly used as shop, now reverted to domestic accommodation. 1741 (datestone) with later additions and alterations. Red brick, slate roof with internal end stacks. Two storeys and attic; boxed-in eaves cornice; four window front, glazing bar sashes with gauged heads, gabled dormers in roof slope to left and right; entrances to rear. Datestone "E/JR/1741" above and between central first floor windows. Two lower right-hand windows are late C20, inserted when shop front removed.
