House, now shop. Early C19 with later additions and alterations.
Red brick, plain concrete tile roof with integral end stack to right.
3 storeys, dentilled eaves cornice; 2-window front, glazing bar
sashes; wooden Tuscan doorcase to left has C20 half-glazed door and
rectangular overlight; late C20 shop windows to right and whole of ground
floor clad in late C20 weatherboarding. With No. 2, Upper Church
Street (q.v.) occupies a prominent position at the junction of Upper
Brook Street and Upper Church Street. Included for group value.
