Pair of houses. Early C18 with later additions and alterations. Red
brick, double-Span slate roof with integral stacks to right gable end,
which has been truncated and slate hung. 3 storeys, moulded wooden
eaves cornice, floor bands and pilasters to left and centre; 7-window
front, glazing bar sashes (horned) with segmental heads; entrances in
second and fifth bays from left, 4-panel doors (top panels of right-hand
now glazed) with moulded wooden hoods on modillion brackets; late C19
canted bays with sash windows to right of each entrance. B.O.E. p. 224.
