House. 1714 (datestone), largely re-modelled c. 1830. Red brick
(random bond to C18 part and English Garden Wall Bond to C19 part)
on sandstone plinth rendered to front and right return, hipped slate roof
with wide spreading eaves, red brick stacks to back wall and in roof
slope. 2 storeys; 3-window front, 30-paned glazing bar sashes with two
C20 flat-roofed dormers in roof slope; central entrance, semi-circular
Doric portico with moulded entablature over 8-panel door (top panels
now glazed) with panelled reveals and fanlight. Datestone EIK
to back wall to right of canted staircase projection. 1714
Attached stables set back to left have 3 blind windows
with gauged heads to left, C20 door to right of centre and C20 brick
lean-to in angle with house.
