5/218 Crenellated wall
- attached to north-east
corner of Woodhill


Boundary wall. Mid-to late C18, partly re-built in late C19. Red
brick with stone-capped crenellated parapet and end pier. Approximately
30m in length curving slightly to north-east. The southern part of the
wall, where it joins the late C19 part of Woodhill (q.v.), has been
re-built in late C19 brick. Stands in front of the east front of the
stables (q.v.) and included for group value.
