Farmhouse. Probably C16 or C17 with later additions and alterations.
Roughcast timber frame; graded slate roofs. L-plan of 2 roughly equal-
length ranges. One storey and attic to front, 2 storeys to rear range.
Front range has large mid-C20 metal casement to left and 4-panel door (top
panels now glazed) to right. Timber framed gabled half-dormer to right
of centre has C20 casement. Massive stepped external end stack with dentilled
brick band to top; integral lateral stack with shaft rebuilt in C19 red
brick to left of rear range.Massive wall post and wall-plate end exposed
to front left-corner of front range. Interior: not inspected but likely
to be of interest.
