Stable block attached to north side of Henlle Hall

Stable block. Late C18 with later additions and alterations. Red brick, painted to sides facing stable yard; graded slate hipped roof.

Main rectangular block with short range at right-angles to right. Two levels with dentilled eaves cornice. 1:2:1 bays, centre recessed. Blind round-headed arches to left and right with impost bands have segmental-headed ledged and braced hatches to first floor and segmental-headed boarded doors below with paired windows to overlights. Similar doorway to left of centre range with segmental-headed C19 casement to right and two hatches above. Short range has continuation of impost band; segmental-headed C19 window to left above panelled door with segmental-headed barred overlight. Pyramidal lantern to ridge on left. Projection to right has dentilled cornice to stone lintel over recessed blind round-headed arch with C19 segmental-headed fixed-light window above wide double doors.

Interior: main range has C19 wooden loose boxes with iron grilles and carved finials.
