Old Farmhouse

Barn. Late C17 with later alterations. Timber framed with red brick
infill; graded slate roof. Framing: square panels, 2 from cill to wall-
plate with short straight tension braces and some later horizontal members;
V-struts from cambered collar to left gable end. Air vents to left.
Double doors to centre and 2 eaves hatches to left. Interior. Single-
purlin roof in 3 bays with raking struts from tie beams to principal rafters.
Formerly had loft to right bay.
