Barn approx. 25m south of The Firs

Barn. Mid-C17 with later alterations. Timber framed with red brick
infill and partial rebuilding; corrugated iron cladding to right; corrugated
iron roof. Framing: square panels, 2 and 3 from cill to wall-plate,
with later internal long straight tension braces. Stable doors to far
left and to right of centre with fixed-light window directly below eaves
to left of latter. Interior. Open to roof. Queen-strut roof in
4 bays with V-struts from collar to right gable end. Single purlins,
short straight windbraces and several reused timbers. The Firs is
not included in this list.
