Parker memorial approx. 12m north-west of tower of Church of St. Michael

Churchyard memorial. Circa 1860. Limestone. Gothic-style pedestal
tomb. Square base with corner piers tapering to top, which has moulded
string course. Upper part also square in section with chamfered edges.
Gables with floriated label-stops to each face, the whole surmounted by
an enriched Celtic cross. East side has inscription below hoodmould
commemorating Revd. John Parker (died 1860), who rebuilt the Church of St. Michael
(q.v.) in the mid-C19. 2 pyramidal stone posts to east are linked to monument
by cast-iron chains with spur-shaped spikes.
