- 15m north-west of tower
of Church of St. Michael

GV II

Churchyard memorial. Circa 1864. Painted limestone. Octagonal Gothic-
style pedestal tomb with stepped plinth. Each face has traceried gable
to top and is separated from adjoining face by slender column with floriated
capital and moulded base. Steeple-like projection to top. Inscriptions
to David Hamer (died-1864) and later members of the Hamer family. The whole
is surrounded by 4 stone posts with blind Gothic tracery and gabled caps
linked by cast-iron chains with spur-shaped spikes.
