Smelt flue chimney at N.G.R. SJ 2705 2417

Smelt flue chimney, now disused. Late C19. Red engineering brick (English
Garden Wall bond). Square section tapering to top. Stepped plinth
and moulded capping. Segmental arch to furnace and remains of brick-
lined flue to south. Forms a prominent feature in landscape. Included
for group value.
