House, now inn. Early to mid-C19 with minor later additions and alterations. Regularly coursed and dressed limestone blocks; low-pitched hipped slate roof with wide spreading eaves and integral red brick end stack to left. Three storeys. Five windows with further narrow bay set-back to right. Glazing bar sashes with plain stone lintels, those to third floor of reduced proportions. Entrances in second and fourth bays from left; four-panel doors with panelled reveals and rectangular overlights, right in very plain pilastered stone doorcase with simple entablature. Set-back bay has entrance to front (C20 door with C19 stone lintel) and glazing bar sash on each floor to right side. Occupies a prominent corner position at junction of North Road and Station Road.
