Farmhouse. Probably C17 with later additions and alterations. Pebbledashed timber-frame and painted brick, graded slate roofs with raised verges to rear gable end of cross wing and to short range. Basic L-plan comprising hall range of two and half framed bays with two-or three-bay gabled cross-wing projecting to left; short gabled range running parallel with hall range in angle to front. One storey and attic. Late C20 casements to front gable of cross-wing, left side of which has C18 gabled brick porch with raised verges and C20 panelled door. Red brick ridge stack with dentilled capping directly above forming baffle entry.

Hall range has timber-framed gabled eaves dormer and two C20 casements to ground floor; integral end stack. Early C20 canted bay window to short range with contemporary hip-roofed eaves dormer immediately to right; external end stack. Outshut to rear of hall range.

Interior. Inspection not possible at time of resurvey (November 1986) but likely to be of interest.
